This storm rolled through Turku last night and it was awesome! There was a ton of lightning and thunder, and it was the closest that we’re going to get to a firework show this year. Happy 4th of July to everyone back in the States!!

We had dinner this weekend at Britt’s boss’ house (delicious), and for dessert we helped to make homemade pulla. The main ingredients are cardamom, butter and sugar, so obviously it was delicious! Not only was it good to eat, it was easy to make as well. It’s definitely a recipe I’ll be keeping handy!
This weekend is yet ANOTHER holiday here in Finland, this time everyone is celebrating Midsummer.
