Sitting atop a hill overlooking the market square sits an elaborately carved, granite building… the Turku Art Museum. I’ve heard that it’s fantastic, but haven’t visited yet. I’m not worried though, we still have 4 months to visit.

Last night we went to Mikaelinkirkko (St. Michael’s Church), an Evangelical Lutheran congregation that houses itself in a Swedish/Gothic German building that was built from 1899-1905. Truman State University’s Cantoria Choir is currently on their international tour, and Turku was their second stop. It’s Almost Midnight!
Just took this picture out of our window at 11:45 PM. Can’t believe how light it is out still!! You can even see the sun reflecting in the windows. We’re definitely going to have to invest in some black-out shades!
