The Wild Rose

Absolutely cannot believe that today marks three months since we first stepped off of the airplane into snowy and unfamiliar Turku. The city is now in full bloom, we feel like we know every side nook & cranny and which bike path will get you there fastest. We are really enjoying our time here in Finland, and are sad that our time is already halfway over. We received our first visitor today (huzzah!)! We’ve saved all of the touristy things to do with guests, so we’re looking forward to touring the inside of the castle (we’ve looked at the outside several times now) as well as visiting some museums. More importantly, we get to show off our favorite cafes and restaurants, enjoying our favorite dishes all over again (& hopefully discovering some new ones!).
