Took a day trip on our bikes to neighboring Ruissalo Island. It was a long bike ride, but it was a beautiful trail to ride along! When on the island we were able to see back to the Finnish shore and the Turku Castle. Ruissalo is a small island with several farms and camping areas. The main bike path went through a couple of farms giving us a chance to meet some Finnish sheep and bulls. The beach was rocky and the water was, just like yesterday, FREEZING! Nevertheless, it was a beautiful bike ride and a fun trip to the Åland Islands.

I have been to Turku, but not the Aland islands. I love Finland, I might come along for the ride.
